What is The Sat Store?
The Sat Store sells quality products in exchange for "sats" (e.g., the smallest denomination in Bitcoin). Our vision is for Bitcoin to be used universally as a medium of exchange. For that to happen, the opportunity to transact in Bitcoin must be widely available. That's why we're here 🙂
1) We sell quality products in exchange for Bitcoin.
Our website is a Bitcoin-only shop that accepts Bitcoin payments over the Lightning Network. Our first product is a premium, stainless steel fidget called Seedbeads™ that has been designed for the Bitcoin community.
There are millions of "Bitcoiners" throughout the world... but it's not common to make transactions in Bitcoin yet. That is now changing, both by merchants (like us) and customers (like you?) willing to transact in Bitcoin.
You can participate in this evolution and help Bitcoin be used as a medium of exchange by checking out our shop – Our motto is "Don’t sell your Bitcoin, spend your Bitcoin."
2) We create educational Bitcoin content.
Since its launch in 2009, Bitcoin has been on a journey to become universally accepted as money. It's a big topic and you likely have many questions if you're new to the space. Let us help with that 🙂
We create educational content on how to acquire, hold, and spend Bitcoin in an approachable way. Not only that, our website also provides the opportunity to use Bitcoin as money for real. That's rare (for now) and can be an exhilarating experience to participate in.
3) We build communities that use Bitcoin for everyday life.
Our mission is to build circular Bitcoin economies where people can use Bitcoin for everyday life. We do this by providing goods and services in exchange for Bitcoin, spending Bitcoin, advocating for Bitcoin, and by hosting in-person events in our local communities.
